Derek Carr has been released from the Las Vegas Raiders, and his future is the hottest topic in the NFL right now.
Before Betting on Derek Carr’s Next Team
The veteran QB has been an integral part of the Raiders’ team since he entered the league, which was way back in 2014, once the Oakland Raiders selected him as the 36th overall pick. He would then become a four-time Pro Bowl but failed to do anything noticeable in the playoffs.
He threw 35,222 yards for the franchise and 217 touchdowns with 99 interceptions. At 31 years of age, he is now arguably the most desirable QB on the market.
Derek Carr Next Team NFL Offshore Odds
According to the bookmakers, Carr’s top two destinations are Carolina and New Orleans. The Panthers have a new head coach and are deep into the rebuild process, having formed quite a solid and talented unit.
Opposite to them, the Saints have a team that only needs a QB in order to become a title contender, and that’s why the franchise from the Big Easy wants to land the former Raider.
Many suggest that Carr’s best option might be the New York Jets, due to their incredible potential. This team is filled with young stars who are already playing high-level football. In a year or two, this crew could be an elite one.
Tampa Bay needs a replacement for Tom Brady, but most of the team that won the Super Bowl three years ago is already gone, and that may not be the best pick. He still has Godwin and Evans, but that isn’t enough.
