There will be massive boxing action to look forward to in Sin City on Saturday, as Devin Haney defends his WBC super lightweight title against Ryan Garcia. Haney will come into this title defense as the clear favorite to claim victory in the bout. The American has a dominant record at professional level after winning all 31 of his previous bouts.
A total of 15 victories have been recorded by knockout, with the remaining 16 victories being achieved by decision. Haney made a successful step up into the super lightweight division last December after scoring a unanimous decision success against Regis Prograis to win the WBC title.
Ryan Garcia will be the outsider in the betting to claim victory in this WBC title bout on Saturday. Garcia bounced back to form in the ring in impressive fashion at the end of last year after scoring an eighth-round stoppage success against Oscar Duarte in Houston.
But, one of the biggest concerns that Garcia faces this weekend is the fact that he was beaten comprehensively in his last big fight at the top level. The American was stopped for the first time in his career last April when losing by KO in the seventh round against Gervonta Davis. That leaves huge doubts ahead of this return to the ring on Saturday.
