Novak Djokovic is a man on a mission in Paris. Though, his rival in the quarterfinals, Karen Khachanov, doesn’t mind about that and has his own plans.
Before Betting on Djokovic vs. Khachanov Roland Garros
Novak is without a lost set in the opening four rounds, and even though he had some ups and downs, the Serb is looking solid so far. He played four tie-breaks, two against Davifovich-Fokina, but each time, he would beat the rivals.
That is just another display of his incredible mentality, which is the most powerful on the tour. He just loves playing in tough situations, and Joker’s current dispute with the crowd in Paris fuels him even more.
Khachanov had a relatively easy path up to this point, playing against players who aren’t among the top 50 players on the tour. The most recent contest was against Lorenzo Sonego, No.48, and the Russian had to work hard to reach the victory.
The way the match opened, and 1-6 for Sonego in the opening set was frightening, yet, Khachanov responded on time, winning three straight sets, the third one following a tie-break. He plays in waves, and the only question is whether he catches a positive or a negative one.

Novak has eight wins and one defeat against the Russian rival, the most recent at the 2022 ATP Masters in Paris. They met twice on clay, and Djokovic won on both occasions, in 2020 here at Roland Garros.
Overall, this should be an interesting match, and we do expect to see Khachanov challenging Novak, but apart from maybe winning one set, he won’t be able to do much more.
