The Dodgers took two games at home in the teams’ only meetings this season, but L.A. has won 14 of the last 20 times they’ve visited Oracle Park and the offshore odds have them favored to continue that trend on Friday night.
Walker Buehler (6-2, 3.84 ERA) being on the hill for the series opener gives the Dodgers value, as he’s 7-1 with a 2.55 ERA in his career vs. the Giants. San Francisco counters with Jakob Junis (3-1, 2.51 ERA) who has held opponents to 2 ER or less in five of his last six starts.

Los Angeles was -176 at home against the Mets in Buehler’s last outing, but have been -200 or higher in his six previous starts. When a -148 line at Pinnacle is there, I think you have to take it, especially with Buehler’s past success against the Giants.
This game should also be a lower scoring affair, with the 9 O/U looking on the high side not only because of Buehler, but with Junis quietly on a good stretch as well.
