- The Dolphins came up just short against Arizona, losing 28-27, and falling to 2-5.
- Buffalo smothered the Seahawks, winning 31-10 for their third consecutive victory.
- These two teams last faced off back in Week 2, in a game that the Bills won 31-10.
Miami and Buffalo face off in a key Week 9 NFL clash. Our Dolphins vs Bills prediction involves Buffalo posting another strong result. The Bills already opened up a huge lead in the AFC East, and can further widen the gap.
Dolphins Finally Have Tua Back
Tua Tagovailoa return to action on Sunday for the first time since Week 2. His presence was a huge boon for a depleted offense. They reached 20 points for the first time since the very first week. Unfortunately, despite a strong return performance from Tagovailoa, and a fantastic game from De’Von Achane, Miami still lost. Their defense gave up 21 2nd-half points, resulting in the loss. The Dolphins need to improve on defense this week.
Bills Already Closing in on Division Title
The Bills hold a 3.5 game lead in the AFC East division at the midway point of the season. They have an opportunity to increase that lead to 4.5 games this week, before their schedule gets notably tougher. It’s likely that Buffalo becomes the first team to clinch their division this season, but a losing skid could still put them in jeopardy. They’ll aim to continue rolling against a Dolphins team that they blew out, 31-10, in Miami in Week 2.
Dolphins vs Bills Prediction: Buffalo Keeps on Rolling
With Tua Tagovailoa back in the mix, this game should be far more entertaining than Miami’s previous several games. That being said, Tagovailoa was available for most of the Dolphins’ Week 2 loss to Buffalo. After losing 31-10 at home, Miami faces an uphill battle to try and flip the result on the road. They can’t be counted out, but Buffalo will have a significant advantage in this game. We’ll take the Bills to win this matchup at home, 29-20.
