Florida powerhouses Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers not only train together these days but will also play a preseason game this Friday night at Raymond James Stadium.

Before Betting on Dolphins vs. Buccaneers

The Dolphins played well in the previous two preseason appearances, beating the Falcons 20-13 and the Commanders 13-6, gaining some momentum ahead of the season’s kickoff.

According to sources within the franchise, Tyreek Hill probably won’t play because the staff wants to play it safe with his thumb injury. Most other starters should go out and play at least a few snaps.

The Buccaneers are an enigma. They could be good or a big bust. Mayfield stayed and received a big contract, but he and his offense in Tampa Bay are no longer unknown to other teams. The former No.1 pick needs to show his consistency and growth now. That’s why many believe this could be his crucial season.

Buccaneers defeated the Bengals in the first preseason event, 17-14, and after that, lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, 20-7. There was plenty of inconsistency in their performances, and overall, we can’t say that any of the players amazed anyone or disappointed.

Dolphins vs. Buccaneers Head to Head

The previous contest between these two teams was in 2021, when Tampa defeated the Dolphins 45-17.

The Fins are a better team overall despite not having Hill in this one. We’ve seen them go strong in the opening two events of the preseason, while the Bucs haven’t looked that good, to be honest. Trask wasn’t particularly good in either of the events, and against the Jags, he was 3-for-11 on third downs. So, we will take the guests with a spread here due to their better depth and more defense, which could make Trask very uncomfortable.
