Despite being convicted on 34 counts of Falsifying Business Records in the 1st degree on May 30, 2024, former US President Donald Trump remains the betting favorite to win November’s 2024 election.

Although Trump faces competition from many candidates, including Florida Governor and popular Republican politician Ron DeSantis and Michelle Obama, wife of Barrack Obama, the 77-year-old’s biggest challenge is overcoming current President Joe Biden.

However, as things stand, Trump, who became America’s 45th President when he beat Democratic candidate Hilary Clinton in 2016, remains the bookmakers favorite to regain control of the Oval Office later this year.

Gambling on the US election’s eventual winner is not the only political market bettors can predict this year though.

Online bookmakers have a host of prop markets available, including some pretty comical markets such as will the current president ever be tested for dementia and will he be found with drugs in his system?

However, when it comes to available political prop bet markets, a more likely market on offer is whether or not Trump will appear on Spotify’s most successful podcast — Joe Rogan’s ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ — before November 5th’s election.

If you fancy Trump’s chances of making what would be a historic appearance on Spotify’s bet performing show, you can grab odds of +400 from BetOnline.

Please be aware of this before making a decision though. Rogan has previously confirmed he has refused to interview Trump. Whether or not the New Jersey-born host will change his mind ahead of this year’s election remains to be seen, however, still with five months to go before the US public goes to vote, it’s fair to say that just about anything can happen.

Will Donald Trump Appear on Joe Rogan’s Podcast?

It remains unconfirmed if Trump and Rogan have agreed to record an episode for the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast, but Rogan has previously said he will not interview the former President on the Spotify podcast.

Speaking on a 2022 episode of Lex Fridman’s podcast, Rogan revealed he has already rejected multiple offers to host an interview with Trump, stating he is not a supporter of the controversial businessman turned politician and would therefore not want to help elevate him further through his podcast.

“The Trump era is also going to be one of the weirder times. When people look back historically about the division in this country, he’s such a polarizing figure that so many people felt like they could abandon their own ethics and morals and principles just to attack him and anybody who supports him because he is an existential threat to democracy itself,” the 56-year-old UFC commentator said at the time.

Despite his previous refusal, the popular podcast host could have a final decision to make sooner rather than later though.

Spotted attending a recent live UFC event, Trump and Rogan shook hands and appeared to be on friendly terms.

The pair’s recent public greeting has sparked questions over whether or not a more sit-down meeting could be next up.
