Daily fantasy sports provider and sportsbook operator DraftKings Inc. has announced a long-term partnership extension with its sports data and content supplier, Sportradar.
Under the terms of the contract extension, Sportradar will continue to supply DraftKings with official data feeds for several leagues, including the NBA, NFL, and MLB. In addition, DraftKings will utilize a variety of Sportradar’s betting simulation tools like match tracking data, live match update cards, and widgets featuring questions to wager on.
The announcement comes barely two weeks after Sportradar formalized a new data partnership agreement with sports betting start-up, BetIndiana.
Bringing Fans Closer To The Action
DraftKings has said that it will bank on its extended agreement with Sportradar US to build the most trusted and customer-centric sportsbook for its fans.
The company is set to benefit from more instantaneous and accurate data feeds to supplement its in-play betting offering.
In an official statement, DraftKings’ chief business officer, Ezra Kucharz, said that the partnership would allow the company to provide faster turnaround time on its products to enhance the customer experience. He added that the company would use the opportunity to innovate new offerings for players.
What Sportradar Had To Say
In an official release published on Tuesday, Sportradar VP of Sales and Gaming Neale Deeley noted that the firm is proud to extend its partnership with DraftKings, which he termed as a respected gaming company in the country.
He went on to state that his company was honored to be part of DraftKings’ successful journey into sports betting, and that they looked forward to continuing that success in the future.

About DraftKings
DraftKings was known for its daily and weekly fantasy sports contests before the repeal of the 1992 PASPA Rule by the Supreme Court in May last year.
Following the legalization of sports betting, DraftKings seized the opportunity in the new market, and it was the first company to operate an online sportsbook outside of Nevada when it launched its New Jersey betting app in August 2018.
Since then, the company has extended its footprint in the regulated US sports betting industry through several partnerships with casinos in different states.
DraftKings operates land-based sportsbooks in Mississippi, Pennsylvania, New York, Iowa, Indiana, and West Virginia. In addition, it has an online presence in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and West Virginia. The company is also set to become the first retail and online operator in New Hampshire after winning the NH Lottery RFP process.
DraftKings is an official sports betting partner of the NBA, MLB, and NHL.
