We’re picking the Eagles to win a key NFC clash between Philadelphia and Tampa Bay.
They re-established morale after winning in New Orleans, and are now searching for another road victory.
Meanwhile, The Buccaneers suffered a major hit, losing at home to the Denver Broncos. It was one of the biggest surprises of the NFL‘s Week 3 results.

Eagles vs. Buccaneers Head-to-Head Stats
The Eagles and Buccaneers have met 23 times, with the Bucs leading the all-time series, 12-11. Their most recent meeting was in the NFC Wild Card game last season when Tampa Bay blew away the Eagles, 32-9.
Before Betting
Hats off to the Eagles for restraining the Saints offense in their own house and claiming a big road win last weekend. Saquon Barkley once again showed why Philly hit the jackpot with his arrival, scoring two touchdowns in the 4th quarter. He also posted 147 rushing yards.
Jalen Hurts was sacked four times and picked off once, but he ended the night with 311 passing yards. TE Dallas Goedert had a fantastic game in the absence of A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith. He finished the day with an incredible 170 receiving yards.
The Buccaneers’ morale and hype faded against the Broncos. Denver thrashed Tampa Bay at Raymond James Stadium, winning 26-7. The Bucs tallied only 132 passing yards, the lowest total of the season for QB Baker Mayfield, who started the year hot.
His protection fell apart this week, and the former NFL No.1 draft pick was sacked SEVEN times for 31 negative yards. He had one TD toss and was picked once, but struggled to repeat his success from the first two weeks. Furthermore, the ground game ceased to exist in this event, producing just 91 yards. 70 of those yards came from rookie RB Bucky Irving.
Eagles vs. Buccaneers Prediction
If the Eagles can beat the Saints on the road, they should be able to manage a victory over the flailing Bucs. The home team will have a strong sense of urgency, but after their opening two wins, the previous and upcoming events may be a disturbing reality check for Tampa Bay.
