Before Betting On Emilia Romagna Grand Prix

An exciting race on the Formula 1 schedule will take place in Italy at the end of May. There will be a very competitive feel to the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, as for the first time this season, questions are being asked of Red Bull and Max Verstappen. The reigning world champion was unable to take the race to Lando Norris in Miami, with the Brit claiming a first ever victory.

Still, Verstappen will be favored to return to winning ways in Italy after landing victories in four of the six races so far this season. The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix was first staged in 2020, and has been a regular stop on the schedule since the COVID-19 pandemic. Verstappen is the most successful driver with two wins.

Despite being one of Ferrari’s home races, the Italian constructor is yet to land a victory in the race. There were signs of promise in Miami, with Charles Leclerc finishing second in the Sprint and third in the Grand Prix. However, it was a more frustrating weekend for Carlos Sainz, who was ultimately demoted to fifth after being handed a five-second time penalty.

McLaren certainly looks to be the most realistic danger to Red Bull in Italy, with Mercedes once again struggling. Lewis Hamilton finished sixth in Miami, while George Russell could only finish down in eighth.
