Three Lions After Three Points
The game against Croatia wasn’t that charming for watching, but still, England got away from it with three points which is the only important thing here. Gareth Southgate was under heavy pressure to fulfill the expectations of the public, and in some way, he managed to do so.

That is the least we can say about the performances of the scots in their opening event. We didn’t saw anything from them. Apart from useless running, Scotland was inferior in almost all the key areas. On top of everything, this team suffered a morale-killer goal from half the field.
Still, the team will reset for this match because they meet England, and that is, in fact, a much bigger motive for winning than three points. As said, there is a long history between these two sides, and for the Scots, beating England is a matter of national pride.
