No French player has scored a goal at the Euros in more than 1,090 days. What we’re basically saying is that none of France’s players have found the net since the start of the Euro 2024, with their only goal so far being an own goal by one of Austria’s players in the opening round.

Will that change on June 25 at Westfalenstadion in Dortmund where Poland will play their last game of the Euro 2024?

Before Betting on France vs. Poland

So far, France has scored only one goal in this tournament. They did it in the 1:0 win over Austria, while in the second round, they drew 0:0 with the Netherlands.

But it seems that coach Didier Deschamps doesn’t care much. In his own words, trophies are won by the best defenses.

Fans, and probably some of the players, don’t share his opinion. To ensure a good atmosphere in the locker room, Deschamps might decide to tweak his strategy a lil bit for the final game of the group stage.

This goes especially because Les Bleus need to win this game in order to win the group. Given that they’re on equal points with the Netherlands, they need to make sure they finish the group stage with a better score difference.

The good news for them is that in Round 3, they will be facing unmotivated Poland, who are going home after this game. After losing the first two games, the Poles stand no chance of advancing to the knockout phase.

Kylian Mbappe missed France’s last game due to a broken nose, but he might return for the clash with Poland. Even if he doesn’t return, his teammates are expected to do better than before, especially in the final third. France is looking for a big win and we think they’re going to find a way to get it.
