France and Portugal clash in another EURO semis. We remember the 2000 and Abel Xavier’s controversial penalty that eliminated the Selecao. Yet we also remember the 2018 EURO finals in Paris when France lost in front of own crowd and Portugal received a sweet revenge.

There’s plenty at stake here, and we don’t need to mention anything. We will bring several France vs. Portugal prop bets here, so take five minutes of your time to check them out.

What We Know So Far

Portugal played well against Slovenia, but we need to say that Cristiano Ronaldo put himself in the center of attention too much, missing to many chances (a penalty among other things) forcibly trying to break a seven-game cold streak at the big tournaments in which he didn’t score.

In general, the Selecao plays solid football and likes to compete; the only thing is that Ronaldo can’t score. Rafael Leao plays well, and so does the entire midfield, apart from Bruno Fernandes, who struggles to deliver.

France is in the quarterfinals following four pale performances in which they didn’t score a goal in the game. Two wins this team had were following the own goals of their rivals and one penalty, which was in a tie against Poland. We can’t say they were better against Belgium, but struck of late luck pushed them to the quarterfinals.

The team doesn’t look well, yet it still manages to pass by. Their offense is terrible, and we don’t mean Mbappe and Griezmann, but other players like Thuram, Dembele, and Kolo Mouani.

Portugal vs. France Offshore Betting Odds

The French team is a slight favorite here, but the difference in odds isn’t that great.

Best Card Bets

We saw the French unit very nervous against Belgium, and even though several players are one card away from suspension, that won’t lower their intensity on the field. Portugal, as usual, is always interesting when it comes to betting on yellow cards, so with these two things involved, we expect to see five yellow cards during 90 minutes.

Aurélien Tchouaméni +375

The position of Real Madrid’s midfielder is such that he has to slow down the rival’s transition, and that’s something where Portugal has many weapons and is great. That’s why we pick him to be booked in this event.
