Group F forms the final group in the opening round of EURO 2024 this summer, and there could be an interesting battle for the two qualifying positions. Portugal could be very challenging to oppose, but the Czech Republic and Turkey both impressed during the qualifying phase.

Before Betting On EURO 2024 Group F

Portugal could be one of the most interesting contenders to win the EUROs this summer. The European nation have previous winning experience at the tournament after winning EURO 2016, and this could be the final opportunity for Cristiano Ronaldo to win another major honor with his country. Portugal reached the round of 16 at the previous edition of the tournament, and were excellent in qualifying after winning all ten matches.

Turkey were widely touted as dark horse contenders at EURO 2020, but they flattered to deceive after losing all three matches to crash out in the group stage. They have managed to get back on track since that disappointment after recording victories in five of their eight qualifying matches. But, questions remain of their ability at major tournaments.

The Czech Republic were ultimately the dark horse nation at the previous edition of the EUROs after reaching the quarterfinal stage. They have once again showed quality through the qualifying phase after winning four of their eight matches, and suffering just one defeat. Their previous best showing at the tournament came when finishing second in 1996.

The final nation to slot into Group F will be determined in late March, but it’s likely that the final qualifier will be huge outsiders to progress through to the next round. Georgia and Luxembourg will meet in the first semi-final, and they will come up against either Greece or Kazakhstan.
