The Netherlands will be led into this summer’s EUROs by Ronald Koeman, as they chase a second victory in the competition. Their best showing at the tournament came back in 1988 when winning the EUROs in West Germany. Poland will be competing at the EUROs for the fifth straight edition this summer, but they have only made it through the group stage on one previous occasion. They were very disappointing in previous edition of the EUROs after losing two of their three group stage matches. Qualifying for the tournament was tough for Poland, as they won just four of their ten matches.
They needed a playoff to secure their spot at the tournament this year, and they scraped through after a penalty shootout success against Wales in Cardiff. However, they have since built momentum after beating Ukraine in a warm-up match, meaning that they have now gone seven without defeat.
