Each team in Group E of the Euro 2024 tournament has 3 points after two rounds. The final round of the group stage will determine which two (or three) teams will get to the Round of 16. This is why we predict the Slovakia vs. Romania game on June 26 is going to be a real banger.
Before Betting on Slovakia vs. Romania
Slovakia started the Euros with a 1:0 win over Belgium, which was one of the biggest (if not the very biggest one) upsets in the history of the tournament.
It was a great achievement, but not even their hardest fans can say the Slovaks fully deserved to win as it was Belgium who had more chances. In fact, Belgium’s striker Romelu Lukaku scored twice, but both of his goals were disallowed after VAR intervened.
Then, in the second round, Slovakia lost to Ukraine. They had a good start to the game, getting a 1:0 lead, but Ukraine completely destroyed them in the second half.
Now, they’re supposed to play against Romania in the crucial game of the group stage. This team too started with a (relatively) surprising win in the first round. Romania beat Ukraine 3:0. Sounds impressive, but the Romanians weren’t that good on the field.
They weren’t good in the game with Belgium either, and this time, they suffered a loss. The Red Devils beat them 2:0.

Likewise, losing the game also doesn’t necessarily mean the end of the Euro 2024 campaign for the loser due to the rule that the best four third-place teams will qualify for the knockouts.
That said, a draw would work fine for both Slovakia and Romania. In that happened, both teams would almost certainly qualify for the knockout phase.
