One of two events to be co-sanctioned by the European Tour that will be taking place across the coming weekend comes in the form of the ISCO Championship. This event has been staged annually since 2015, with the winning player earning spots in the next editions of the PGA Championship and Open Championship.

Before Betting On ISCO Championship

The ISCO Championship is an alternative event to be staged this weekend on both the PGA and European Tours, with the competition offering a potential route to the Open Championship, which is staged at the end of the month. It is a second event to be staged this weekend, with much of the attention expected to be on the Scottish Open.

The ISCO Championship has been staged annually since 2015, and it will be known by its current name for the first time in 2024 after being renamed from the Barbasol Championship. A total distance of 7,328 yards will be covered in this stroke play event, with the field competing for their share of the $3.8 million purse.

Jim Herman holds the aggregate and par records at the ISCO Championship, finishing 26-under with an aggregate score of 262 in 2019. Meanwhile, the reigning champion is Vincent Normann, who held off Nathan Kimsey in a dramatic playoff at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Kentucky last year.

Luke Clanton will be a standout selection in the event this weekend after impressing at the John Deere Classic when finishing in a tie for second. The 20-year-old American has enjoyed a stunning couple of months, which also included a top ten finish at the Rocket Mortgage Classic at the end of June.

A wide-open edition of the ISCO Championship is set for this weekend, with a number of players holding solid claims. However, we are prepared to take a chance on Joel Dahmen, who has been largely consistent on the schedule throughout this season, and has made the cut on his last seven appearances.
