Everton will be aiming to continue their rise up in the Premier League standings this weekend when they host Fulham.

The Toffees have won two of their last three matches in the competition, and are unbeaten in their last four. A 2-0 away win at Ipswich last Saturday pushed them five points clear of the drop zone.

Marco Silva’s Fulham have lost little in successive defeats after playing well in losses against Man City and Aston Villa.

But for a missed penalty last weekend, they could be traveling to Goodison Park chasing back-to-back wins. A return to form is hard to rule out, and it could lift them up to seventh in the standings.

Odds

Fulham will be narrowly preferred on the moneyline this weekend, as they chase a return to form. Everton will be considered a value play by many with home field advantage at Goodison Park.

Everton’s home record against Fulham was previously very strong after going unbeaten in the first 27 league meetings between the sides, winning 23 times across that period.

However, the Cottagers have upset the odds at Goodison in recent seasons, winning on each of their last three visits.

In fact, Fulham are unbeaten in their last five matches against the Toffees, and have kept clean sheets in all three of their wins recorded on Merseyside.

Everton Team News

James Garner is back on the sidelines for Everton after suffering a muscle injury, while Jarrad Branthwaite’s return to action was short-lived after suffering a recurrence of the injury.

Fulham Team News

Joachim Andersen will serve his one-game suspension this weekend after being sent off against Aston Villa.

Timothy Castagne, Sasa Lukic, and Carlos Vinicius are all expected to miss out on selection until at least the start of November.

Everton vs. Fulham Prediction

All three selections on the moneyline are viable outcomes this weekend, with little to separate the form of both sides.

However, Fulham haven’t picked up the points that their performances have merited in recent weeks, and the scoring form of Raul Jimenez could once again be key to their chances of extending their excellent run at Goodison Park.
