Before Betting On Filip Hrgovic vs Daniel Dubois

Daniel Dubois will be looking to get his title aspirations back on the right track when he collides with the respected Filip Hrgovic on a massive card of action in Saudi Arabia in June. Dubois has been regarded as one of the best up-and-coming heavyweights throughout his career, and he was the British and Commonwealth champion between 2019 and 2020.

The British star has won 20 of his 22 professional bouts, with all but two of his victories being scored by knockout. Dubois came up short in his battle for the unified heavyweight titles last August, but there was no shortage of controversy in that late stoppage defeat against Oleksandr Usyk, with Dubois flooring his rival in the bout.

However, he has since been able to get his career back on track after scoring a stunning late stoppage against Jarrell Miller in December 2023. But, this challenge against Hrgovic represents another step back up to the top level of the sport. The Croatian is regarded as one of the best heavyweights on the planet, and he is currently ranked at number one by the IBF.

The former Olympic bronze medallist has won all 17 of his professional fights, with 14 of those victories coming by knockout. However, his standout win was achieved after going the distance following a success against Zhilei Zhang by unanimous decision in August 2022.
