Matt Rhule of the Carolina Panthers was the first fired head coach in 2023. His Panthers were only five games into the season, with one win, when the management decided to move on from Rhule, who was considered a great prospect once.

The big question now is who will be in Rhule’s shoes this year? We can say that the competition is pretty rough, with several names having similar odds.

Dallas Cowboys are on the verge of a rebuild. This season is a do or die for them. The franchise from Texas already made several big cuts this summer, for instance, releasing Ezekiel Elliott. If anything goes wrong, Mike McCarthy is next on the list for heading out from Dallas.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers moved on from Tom Brady. The upcoming season will be demanding for them, especially for the head coach Todd Bowles who didn’t do very well during the 2022 campaign. Many believe he was the reason for all the poor performances back then.

Ron Rivera has been in Washington for quite some time, and he didn’t do anything notable. Also, the franchise from DC is going through changes, and while doing so, why not change the head coach? Especially if there are no results.

The New Orleans Saints have a solid team, and the management won’t wait head coach Dennis Allen too long. If Allen doesn’t start well, his out of Louisiana.

Brown’s Kevin Stefanski and the Raides’ Josh McDaniels are also on the list.
