Before Betting On France vs Scotland

International friendly action will be staged at Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Tuesday, as France host Scotland. The French have already emerged as one of the leading contenders tow in EURO 2024, and they will be looking to rubberstamp those credentials with a standout victory over one of the most impressive qualifiers for the major tournament.

France have been in excellent form since losing the 2022 World Cup final, as they have won six of their seven internationals. Their only defeat was suffered away from home against Germany last month. But, they bounced back to winning ways with a strong display in Amsterdam last week against the Netherlands. Kylain Mbappe scored both goals as the former world champions secured a 2-1 spot, which likely ensures their place in Germany next year.

Scotland will already be celebrating before they travel to France, as their place at EURO 2024 was assured over the weekend following Spain’s win over Norway. Their success means that they have now qualified for each of the last two editions of the EUROs, and all focus will now be on building momentum ahead of the tournament next summer.

However, Scotland will be looking to get back on track after losing each of their last two internationals. The most recent of those came last Thursday, as they were easily beaten by Spain. But, a strong performance is likely from the Scots on French soil this week.
