The final match in the seventh round of fixtures in the Premier League takes place on Monday, as there is a West London derby between Fulham and Chelsea at Craven Cottage. Both sides have made stuttering starts to the new season, and the pressure will be on to finally put together a run of victories.

Before Betting On Fulham vs Chelsea

There is little to separate the sides in the current Premier League standings, but Fulham currently sit higher than the Blues after picking up one more win that their rivals. The Cottagers memorable finished higher than Chelsea for the first time in Premier League history last term, but there were signs of life at the Blues in midweek as they landed a 1-0 win in the EFL Cup against Brighton.

Fulham picked up four points from their matches against Chelsea in the Premier League last season, which was as many points as they had won against their rivals in their previous 15 encounters. The Blues were beaten 2-1 at Craven Cottage last season, but they haven’t lost successive away games against the Cottagers since April 1977.

Interestingly, Chelsea have only been behind against Fulham for 39 minutes in the last 14 meetings between the sides. All of those minutes came in the previous clash between the sides at Craven Cottage last term. The Blues have a poor record against sides sitting above them in the standings, as they have gone 18 matches without a win since a 2-1 success against Leicester in May 2021.

Fulham will also need to overcome a poor trend, as they are winless in their last nine London derbies in the Premier League. They have already played three London derbies this season, with their most recent coming last weekend as they played out a 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
