The Champions League action resumes on Wednesday, as the battle for a top two finish in Group A reaches the penultimate round of matches. All the pressure on Wednesday will be on Man United, as the Red Devils look to reignite their hopes of reaching the next round with an away win against Galatasaray.

Before Betting On Galatasaray vs Man United

Man United will have the weight of expectation on their shoulders on Wednesday, as they look to reignite their chances of reaching the knockout stage of the Champions League. The Red Devils come into this fixture sitting bottom of the Group A standings after losing three of their four matches in the competition this term. United’s hopes of progressing in Group A were dented following a shock defeat against Copenhagen on matchday four.

Galatasaray also come into this fixture with something to prove, as they sit third in the standings after losing each of their previous two matches in the competition. However, a win for the hosts would see them improve their chances of potentially finishing in the top two positions.

Galatasaray had failed to win in their first five European matches against Man United, but they have now won each of the previous two. The latest of those was a fine 3-2 success at Old Trafford against the Red Devils in October. Meanwhile, United have never scored an away goal against their Turkish rivals in three previous attempts.

Galatasaray will be hosting an English side for the eighth time in the Champions League on Wednesday. They have lost on just two previous occasions, with Arsenal becoming only the second side to land an away victory in Turkey following a 4-1 success in December 2014.
