The Minnesota Timberwolves host the Miami Heat this Saturday night, aiming to post its first win of the year. Meanwhile, the East Conference champs will have to play the second of back-to-back nights.

Before Betting on the Heat vs. Timberwolves

The Toronto Raptors hosted the T-Wolves on the opening night, squeezing out a 97-94 victory. It was a tight game, where KAT and the boys had their chance to end up on the winning side. Toronto’s good defense and a bit of luck prevailed, but overall, nobody can say that Minnesota played poorly.

Anthony Edwards was the top-scorer for the guests, having 26 points, but shooting 8-for-27 from the field, which was terrible. He had 14 boards as well, the most among the T-Wolves, who recorded 62 in total. Karl-Anthony Towns also wasn’t in the scoring mood, with eight hits from the field in 25 attempts, ending the night with 19 buckets and ten boards. Gobert posted a double-double, too, with 15 points and 12 boards.

After beating the Pistons in the first round, the Heat met with the Celtics in the East Finals replay. The Cs were better this time, 119-111 at their TD Garden. They broke the Heat in the fourth period, which ended 32-23 for the hosts.

Tyler Herro was the best among the guests with 28 points, six boards, and six dimes. Bam Adebayo had 27 buckets with seven boards, while Jimmy Butler couldn’t find his groove, delivering 24 points with 3-for-11 shooting from the field.

The Heat may be tired, but that’s not an alibi here. We simply believe that the T-Wolves won’t miss a chance to triumph in the first appearance in front of their crowd. Minnesota has a very good team that plays much better at home than on the road in general.
