The Formula 1 action continues this weekend, as the Hungaroring hosts the Hungarian Grand Prix. This race has been involved on the F1 calendar since 1986, and it has created some of the most dramatic moments of the season. Max Verstappen will be chasing a seventh straight victory this weekend, while Red Bull will be looking to maintain their 100% record.

Before Betting On The Hungarian Grand Prix

The Hungarian Grand Prix is one of the standout races on the F1 schedule, and it takes place at a pivotal stage of the season. The race has been staged annually since 1986, with the Hungaroring having hosted the race since 2003. A total distance of 190.531 miles will be covered in the race, with a total of 70 laps being completed by the drivers involved.

Lewis Hamilton holds the record for the most race wins at the Hungarian Grand Prix, with the former world champion having landed eight victories. Meanwhile, McLaren is the most successful team with eleven wins. Max Verstappen claimed a first win at this race 12 months ago, and he looks a strong contender once again this weekend after winning each of the last six races.

Verstappen needed to survive a late safety car at the British Grand Prix on his previous start, as he finished nearly four seconds clear of the field. However, the race at Silverstone was all about the re-emergence of McLaren. Lando Norris managed to hold onto to second in his home race, with teammate Oscar Piastri finishing back in fourth.

The McLaren looked extremely quick at the track, and were superior to both Ferrari and Aston Martin drivers. There were also more signs of encouragement from Mercedes, as Lewis Hamilton finished the race in third, with George Russell back in fifth. However, no team is looking likely to mount a serious challenge against Red Bull at this stage of the season.

It appears challenging to take on Verstappen this weekend, as he has been in a league of his own throughout the season. But, we could see the McLaren resurgence being maintained with Piastri claiming a first podium in his F1 career.
