It’s safe to say that Ian Machado Garry isn’t a fan favorite. Those MMA fans who hate the Irishman, hate him for things having nothing to do with fighting (e.g., his controversial comments questioning Neil Magny’s parenting).

But when it comes to his performances inside the Octagon, no one can say anything bad about this guy. He is 14-0 overall and the UFC 303 odds suggest he’s going to get to his 15th career win on June 29.

The man who disagrees is Michael “Venom” Page. The 37-year-old Englishman has pledged to KO Garry in Vegas. Will MVP keep his promise?

Before Betting on Ian Machado Garry vs. Michael “Venom” Page?

The Garry vs. Page odds favor the Irish fighter, but he’s not too big a favorite despite his awesome record. He’s 14-0, with half of those wins happening in the UFC. However, four of his UFC wins happened by decision.

In fact, his most recent win happened by a split decision. It happened last February against Geoff Neal, who landed some powerful strikes in that fight.

But Neal isn’t as good a striker as MVP who is a former pro kickboxer. Page is 22-2 overall with 13 wins by KO/TKO. In his most recent fight, he beat another dangerous striker Kevin Holland by unanimous decision.

It was his debut fight in the UFC, while before that, he had a successful career in Bellator MMA, where he fought for an entire decade.

Our prediction is that the Garry vs. Page fight at UFC 303 is going to be a striking duel. So, it all comes down to this – who’s a better striker?

Even though Garry has been nothing short of impressive with his punches and kicks since joining the UFC, we do think Page is a more dangerous kickboxer. In fact, we think MVP is exactly the kind of fighter who could end Garry’s brilliant run.
