Before Betting On Iowa Corn 350

The exciting NASCAR action continues this weekend, as Iowa Speedway hosts the Iowa Corn 350. This race is the 16th regular season edition of the campaign, and it means that just ten races remain before the start of the playoffs. The field will complete a total distance of 306.25 miles in the race this weekend, with the opening stage seeing 100 laps covered. Each of the remaining two stages will then see 125 laps contested.

It will be a historic weekend for NASCAR in Iowa, as it marks the first time that a Cup Series race has been staged in the state. It will also be the first race that will be run at the track. Kyle Larson will once again be the driver to beat this weekend, as he got his championship campaign back on track with a victory in the Save Mart 350.

However, one of the biggest winners last weekend was Chase Elliott, who moved up to second in the overall standings after finishing fourth in the race. That finish marks the fourth time in six races that the former champion has finished inside the top ten finishers. A win this weekend could see him put pressure on Larson at the top of the standings.

Denny Hamlin could also be hard to completely write off in Iowa this weekend, despite enduring a miserable campaign in the Save Mart 350 after finishing only 38th. That was his worst performance of the season, and ended his five-race sequence of top five finishes.
