Before Betting On Jake Paul vs Mike Perry

Jake Paul will be back in boxing action at the end of July when he takes on Mike Perry in Florida. The YouTuber was previously set to clash with Mike Tyson at the end of the month, but that mega-money bout was canceled late last month. Therefore, he will now take on a competitive assignment in the form of former UFC star Mike Perry.

Paul comes into the bout after winning nine of his ten professional bouts, with his only defeat coming in his first fight against an actual boxer in late February against Tommy Fury. Since that first defeat, Paul has bounced back to winning form. He returned to the ring with a professional success against Nate Diaz, before registering back-to-back stoppage wins against Andre August and Ryan Bourland in the opening rounds.

Perry will be Paul’s opponent in this fight, as he chases a winning debut in the boxing ring. The 32-year-old competed in UFC on 15 occasions during his MMA career, and he has most recently competed in the middleweight division in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.

Perry at least has previous boxing experience, as he made his debut in late March 2015. However, that first bout in the sport would end in disappointment after suffering a fourth-round stoppage loss against Kenneth McNeil. But, since that defeat, he has won on all five fights that he has had in BKFC.
