Things aren’t looking good for Minnesota (12-6) on Tuesday night. The Golden Gophers haven’t won in over two weeks and now welcome in the #13 Badgers who have won seven of their last eight. Wisconsin (13-4) has also taken six straight against Minnesota yet are just -3.5 favorites on the offshore odds.
Before Betting on Badgers vs Minnesota NCAAB
Badgers fans are used to have to sit through 65-60 games from their team but Wisconsin has found their offense this season putting up 76.5 ppg. They’ve been especially prolific lately, scoring 83+ in four of the last six including last Friday’s 91-79 victory over Indiana in Madison.
Max Klesmit only averages 9.9 ppg on the season, but he erupted for a season high 26 on Friday vs. the Hoosiers. If the Badgers can find even more scoring to go alongside AJ Storr (15.3 ppg), Steven Crowl (12.0), and Tyler Wahl (11.5) this could be a team poised for a run in March.
Wisconsin heating up in scoring is not what Minnesota wants to hear after the Golden Gophers have suffered three straight losses at Indiana (72-64), vs Iowa (86-77), and at Michigan State (76-66). The bright side is that Ben Johnson’s club had won seven straight prior to their mini-slump, they just need to get back to their winning ways – and against the top team in the Big Ten would be a perfect time.

Badgers vs Minnesota NCAAB Prediction & Pick
Maybe it’s overthinking, but something seems a little off about this line as this looks like it should be a runaway Wisconsin win. The UW defense has gave up 83 ppg their last two, and with the way the Badgers offense has been playing this total looks way too low.
