Georgia (13-5) has lost two of their last three conference games, but to be fair those came against then #5 Tennessee as a +8 point underdog and most recently on Saturday against then #8 Kentucky when getting +13.5 points. The Bulldogs are back home and are favored for the first time in three games when they host LSU (10-7). The Tigers have also lost two of their last three so both of these programs are hurting for an SEC victory.

Georgia will have to ride the momentum of a moral victory on Saturday in Lexington, where they were down by as many as 28 points before rallying to a respectable 105-96 loss to Kentucky. Kentucky is the highest scoring team in the country and run an incredibly fast pace so it’s no surprise that Georgia put up so many points last Saturday, but there are signs that this offense is in a bit of a groove. LSU has allowed 80+ points in two of their last three despite having a top 25 defense in opponents field goal shooting percentage (39.7).
LSU has its work cut out for them on Wednesday night considering Georgia has gone 10-1 at Stegeman Coliseum this year while the Tigers have just one true road win.
