The Formula 1 action continues this weekend, as all eyes will be on the Suzuka Circuit for the Japanese Grand Prix. Red Bull’s 100% record to start the new season as ended in Singapore, and a response will be needed by the reigning Constructors Champions this weekend.

Before Betting On Japanese Grand Prix

The Japanese Grand Prix is typically one of the standout races on the F1 calendar, as it has been staged intermittently since 1966. This weekend’s race will cover a total distance of 307.471 km, with drivers completing a total of 53 laps. It is a race that has often seen champions crowned, with the top prize handed out in Japan on 13 different occasions.

Red Bull will have pressure on their shoulders for the first time this season on Sunday, as both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez struggled in Singapore. Both drivers appeared to struggle following a slight tweak in regulations, which saw the reigning world champion overtaken for the first time since the start of the season.

Their issues certainly helped excitement levels, as the top four were covered by just over a second heading into the final lap in Singapore. However, Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz was able to keep his composure to finish just ahead of Lando Norris, with Lewis Hamilton taking third following a crash for George Russell on the final lap.

Hamilton was the quickest man on track after Mercedes rolled the dice and moved onto medium tyres with just under 20 laps remaining. The team’s resurgence was clear for all to see, and the former world champion could match Michael Schumacher’s record of six wins in Japan this weekend.
