Before Betting on Jackson vs. Kuramagomedov Bellator Dublin Fight

Jason Jackson a.k.a. The Ass-Kicking Machine is 18-4 overall with his last loss happening back in 2019 in his promotional debut. He lost that fight by split decision to Ed Ruth. Before that, he lost to Kyle Stewart by a TKO after suffering an ankle injury. It happened in 2017.

The other two losses happened more than a decade ago. Hayder Hassan beat him in 2013, while his first professional loss happened to Colby Covington in 2012.

Given that he’s still in his early 30s, Jackson has every right to hope to challenge for the GOAT status in the welterweight division on Bellator MMA. That’s the division in which he’s already defeated some real elite fighters, including Benson Henderson, Neiman Gracie, and Douglas Lima.

The wins over those fighters recommended him for a title shot. In November last year, he KO-ed Yaroslav Amosov and got ahold of the championship belt. Then, he beat Ray Cooper by a TKO in the PFL x Bellator Champions event.

His first proper title defense in the Bellator Weathertight division is on the program this coming Saturday when he’ll fight against undefeated Dagestani fighter, Ramazan Kuramagomedov.

Kuramagomedov is 12-0, which may seem great, but he’s never fought against such an amazing opponent as Jackson. Further, this guy seems to do badly under pressure.

For example, on his debut in the PFL, he won by unanimous decision in a relatively boring fight, which is why he didn’t get a contract. Then, he fought in Dana White’s Contender Series. He won the fight by a split decision, which wasn’t enough to earn a UFC deal.

Since joining Bellator last year, he’s 2-0, winning each fight inside the distance. But the guys he defeated – Jaleel Willis and Randall Wallace – are nowhere near as good as his opponent at Bellator Dublin.

Jackson vs. Kuramagomedov Offshore Odds & Pick

FighterOdds
Jason Jackson+115
Ramazan Kuramagomedov-145

Ramazan is a great wrestler as you’d expect from a Dagestani martial artist. However, Jackson has already fought against many great wrestlers, so it shouldn’t be difficult for him to get the job done. He’s going to land a huge volume of kicks and punches, which should probably be enough to stop Kuramagomedov.
