Joe Biden’s cognitive state has been a notable topic for the entirety of his Presidency. As his mental state appears to get worse as time progresses, many are calling for the President to take a formal Dementia test.

Joe Biden Dementia Test Details

U.S. President Joe Biden turns 82 years old this November. If he were to be re-elected, he would remain in office until a new President is inaugurated in January 2029, at which point he would be 86 years old. Biden’s cognitive state has been in question since his original campaign started in 2019 at age 76. It’s become exceedingly unlikely that the President will remain fully healthy and capable toward the latter end of the decade.

With Biden visibly and audibly struggling with his physical and mental facilities each time he is in the public eye, there is growing belief that he is suffering from Dementia. Back in February, a specialist described Biden’s memory as “hazy and poor”, one of many Dementia symptoms. While Biden has not formally taken a Dementia test, as far as the public knows, the odds that he is suffering from it continue to grow.

Joe Biden Dementia Test Odds

Test ResultsOdds
20-24 score (Dementia)+190
25-30 score (Severe Dementia)+225
13-19 score (Partial Dementia)+225
<13 score (Slight/No Dementia)+500

The longest odds offered are for Biden not having Dementia, indicating that the current public opinion is that he likely does have it. That being said, it would be impetuous to take the odds that believe Biden would test for severe Dementia. While the President’s mental state is undoubtedly deteriorating, and a concern to many, he very likely does have not have severe Dementia, or he would be bedridden and largely unable to speak. Biden is most likely to test positive for a milder or less-developed form of Dementia.
