Kevin Holland gets back to the middleweight division, and his next rival will be the a solid Polish fighter, Michal Oleksiejczuk. Both guys will have a lot at stake here: Holland his status in the UFC and Oleksiejczuk his future in the organization at all.

Before Betting on UFC 302 Kevin Holland vs. Michal Oleksiejczuk

Holland, a former rising star in the UFC, made waves four years ago with a record-tying five wins in a single calendar year. However, he has since faced challenges, with a mediocre record of four wins, one no-contest, and six losses. His weight and division movements have been a huge factor, as he didn’t specialize in a single weight class.

This guy is a very good puncher, but he doesn’t know how to use that in the best possible way. Holland’s cardio is also at a very high level, yet we have to say that his stand-up defense isn’t exemplary. For the moment, his strong chin is covering that flaw. Holland has 25 wins and 11 losses, 14 victories via KO.

Michal Oleksiejczuk fights for his spot under the UFC sun. He comes following a stoppage loss against Michel Pereira at the UFC 299, and losing this one could definitely push him away from the top 15 ranked fighters in the division.

This is one of the most important battles for the Pole in his career, because it could be a turning point of the same. He has 19 wins, seven losses, and one no-contest. Fourteen of his triumphs were after a KO, while five of his losses were after a submission, proving that Oleksiejczuk isn’t good on the mat at all.

Holland has one massive advantage in this bout: his wrestling. His stand-up is at least equal to Oleksiejczuk’s, but he is way better than the Polish opponent when it comes to wrestling and anything that goes on the ground. This is the reason we decided to bet on his victory.
