One of the events at the upcoming UFC Fight Night is the bout between the two light heavyweights, Khalil Rountree Jr. and Chris Daukaus.

Rountree is on the rise, having three wins in a row, two via KO. He was better than Modestas Bukauskas and Karl Roberson before beating Dustin Jacoby via split decision. He earned a Performance of the Night bonus for his strong victory over Roberson and, after that, moved up the ladder even more with a win over Jacoby.
He is a very powerful puncher with astonishing power and physique. In 11 of his wins, seven were via KO. Overall, Rountree’s record is 11-5 with one no-contest. He isn’t too skilled, but on the other hand, covers up most of the minuses with his enormous strength.
Chris Daukaus was once a star on the rise and a talented heavyweight. Though, after five wins in a row, all of them via KO (four in the opening round). But as soon as he faced the top of the division, he began losing.
Daukaus rides a three-bout losing streak, in which he got KOd in each battle, once in the second round to Curtis Blaydes and twice in the opening against Derrick Lewis and Jairzinho Rozenstruik. That really destroyed his reputation, and he needs a win here to restore it.

Rountree might be smaller than his rival, who is coming down to light heavyweight, but on the other side, we really believe that he has more power in his punch than Daukaus, who will be slower as well. Of 12 wins Daukaus has, 11 were via KO, but also, he suffered five KOs in six defeats. Therefore, his all-in approach won’t work against the faster and presumably stronger guy here.
