Jalen Brunson finished with 33 points on 55 percent shooting and tallied eight assists. Mikal Bridges added 18 points, and OG Anunoby chipped in with 12 points and five rebounds. New York led 72-63 at the break, but the Bulls took control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Knicks by a 41-17 margin, and they never looked back after that.

Magic Hope To Build On Victory Over Raptors

Heading into their Friday night matchup against the Toronto Raptors, the Magic had dropped three of their last four contests. Fortunately, the Raptors were just what the doctor ordered, as Orlando went on to win the game 106-97. The Magic were already playing short-handed, and then it got worse when Jalen Suggs left the game in the second quarter with a lower back injury.

Tristan da Silva rose to the occasion, scoring 25 points and handing out four assists. He shot an efficient 9-for-13 from the floor and converted five of his seven attempts from 3-point range.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 15 points, including three 3-pointers, and Goga Bitadze chipped in with 11 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists. Orlando also got 43 points from its bench.

The Magic made nine three-point baskets in the opening quarter to take a 37-24 advantage after the first 12 minutes of action. They never trailed the rest of the way. Thanks to a 19-for-44 effort from behind the 3-point line, Orlando improved to 18-6 on the season when making 10 or more from deep.
