The LA Clippers and the Dallas Mavs have had a sort of rivalry in the past few years. This is the third time in the span of five seasons in which they meet in the postseason. Their game tips off tonight at the American Airlines Center.

Before Betting on LA Clippers vs. Dallas Mavericks

The Clippers will probably play without Kawhi. Now, before continuing with this text, we have to get something out of our chest. Leonard is a big liability for the Clips, and they should get rid of him during the summer because he often isn’t available in the most important games.

LAC lost the final three games of the year, all of them at home, against the Suns, Jazz and the Rockets. Whether someone likes it or not, this is a problem for their staff, and a it is a signal that something isn’t right in their game.

On the other hand, we have the Mavericks, who also didn’t close the season in a winning manner. They were obvious in their intention not to play with 100%, but still, a 135-86 defeat in OKC really left a bad taste among the fans. After all, Luka was in contention for the MVP, and this defeat, along with the previous one to the Pistons, ruined his prospects.

The guests from LA have a star-stacked roster, but the Mavs have Luka and Irving. More than enough to defeat any side in the league. Even though Doncic scores almost 34 points per match, Kyrie’s 25.6 buckets go under the radar. Virtually nobody knows about that data. Also, Uncle Drew is very rational with only 1.8 turnovers per match.

The Mavs are in a better position here, because we really believe that the Clips are on a downhill. Plus, they won’t have Leonard, which is a morale killer and a big minus on the floor.
