The champions finally gained some consistency after and awful period, but they now have a tough challenge ahead of themselves as Vancouver Whitecaps come to town.

Before Betting on LA FC vs. Vancouver Whitecaps

The LA FC had a terrible stretch in late May and early June, but they are now past it. Back then, the MLS champs had five losses in six games, losing ground under themselves for the moment. However, wins over SKC on the road, 1-2 and over Seattle Sounders on the road, 1-0, are a sign of an improvement.

The FC needs to find consistency upfront because that’s their biggest problem right now. Remember that Black and Gold won the title last year due to a fantastic attack. FC didn’t score two goals at home since May 21, having four straight events following that without a score at all.

Vancouver is on the verge of the play-in zone, having mixed results lately. The Canadian franchise tries to gain consistency but simply can’t get a grip on the situation. Over the past four MLS games, they won two and then had back-to-back ties, both at home to SKC and FC Cincinnati, 1-1.

The Whitecaps are the worst team on the road in the West, having no wins in seven outings, with three draws and four losses. They have the fewest number of matches outside of their home in the conference.

The FC is an absolute favorite here. We don’t believe that the champs will miss a chance to perform well against a team that doesn’t play well away from home and takes all three points.
