LA Galaxy faces Club Leon in the second round of the Leagues Cup. The Mexicans are the reigning CONCACAF Champions League winners, and have high ambitions coming into this competition. Galaxy wants to improve the overall impression of the MLS and gain some momentum before the remaining part of the campaign.

Before Betting on LA Galaxy vs. Club Leon

Galaxy lost the latest MLS event, which was in Vancouver, where they met with the Whitecaps. The final result of that clash was 4-2 for the Canadians. Prior to that, they had two wins in a row, and before these triumphs, four consecutive ties.

The team from LA plays efficient football, with goals on both ends. That didn’t happen in just one of the previous nine contests, while seven meetings during that span saw over 2.5 goals. Greg Vanney’s boys like to attack, and that’s their biggest weapon, while the defense isn’t that good.

Club Leon also met with Vancouver Whitecaps in its most recent encounter. It was the first round of the Leagues Cup, and the Mexicans won it after the penalties, which saw 19 series before Whitecaps missed their shot. The regulations saw a 2-2 draw.

Leon’s previous three Liga MX games weren’t that confident, as they lost two and won just one. The campaign started with a defeat at home to Guadalajara, 1-2, then a triumph over Pachica, also at home, 4-0, before losing to UNAL Tigres on the road, 1-0.

The Galaxy plays at home, and they will try to attack and win. There is no pressure for them, and we expect the LA team to go for all three points. Club Leon plays entertaining football too, and we’ve seen that against the Whitecaps, so we believe this contest should bring a high-efficient outcome, with three goals at least.
