The busy Premier League schedule continues this week, as there are fixtures in the English top-flight on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. One of the games where there will be pressure on the home side will be at the King Power Stadium, as Leicester City host Fulham.

Before Betting On Leicester City vs Fulham

There were signs before the break for the World Cup that Leicester City’s season was improving. However, that would have appeared to be a false dawn, as the Foxes have gone on to lose their previous two since the play in the Premier League resumed. That means that they sit just three points above the drop zone coming into this game at the King Power Stadium, but they have managed to win three of their previous six games.

Leicester only had themselves to blame in their previous fixture, as they scored two own goals at Anfield to hand Liverpool a 2-1 win. That defeat was a blow, but Brendan Rodgers will be aware that his job security with the Foxes is likely to hinge on fixtures such as this one against Fulham.

Few would have predicted that Fulham would be eight points above Leicester when the season got underway, but that is a testament to the work that Marco Silva has done with the West London side. The Cottagers sit eighth in the Premier League standings, and could move up to seventh in the standings with a victory in the East Midlands.

Fulham has won each of their previous two games in the Premier League, which includes a fine 2-1 success against Southampton in their latest fixture. However, the Cottagers have won just once in their previous five meetings against Leicester. But, that win did come in their previous visit to the King Power Stadium.

It has been a miserable season to this point for Leicester City, and things aren’t likely to go all their own way at the King Power against Fulham. We could see both teams scoring in this fixture, but the preference is for the Cottagers to edge to a 2-1 win.
