Finally, we’re going to see the rematch between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad. Only now, unlike a few years ago, the stakes are high, with Edwards being the current UFC welterweight champion.

Before Betting on Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad UFC 304

Rocky didn’t lose for almost nine years. The previous defeat was against Kamaru Usman back in December 2015. After that, he beat Usman twice, won the title against him, and even beat Colby Covington in his last bout. Now, the sole bout he didn’t end with hands in the air was against Muhammed, which concluded with no contest.

Edwards is the guy whose gas tank has improved significantly since the first battle against Usman. That victory was a lucky shot, but the second one proved that this guy deserves the belt. Edward’s biggest weapons are long reach, athletic physique, and versatile attack. We need to mention that Rocky’s takedown defense is perfect.

Belal also has an impressive winning streak, having nine triumphs and not losing in five years. His resume includes some pretty notable names, like Stephen Thompson, Demian Maia, Vicente Luque, and the most recent, Gilbert Burns, the former UFC welterweight challenger.

He has a record of 23 wins and three defeats, with 17 triumphs coming following a decision. Belal is a very “boring” fighter in terms of his game plan. He pressures, dances around the octagon, and tries to impose his rhythm. Muhammad doesn’t have knockout power in his fists but is relentless when it comes to pace.

Edwards seems like a stronger and tougher guy, and if you watched that first battle, he was way too dominant for Belal, who, according to some, intentionally didn’t want to continue the bout. Overall, Rocky’s athleticism is why we back up his victory here.
