Before Betting On LIV Golf Adelaide

The action on the LIV Golf schedule continues this weekend, as the action moves Down Under to Australia. LIV Golf Adelaide was staged for the first time on the Saudi-backed tour in 2023, meaning this will be the second edition of the event. The Grand Golf Club will have hosting responsibilities this weekend, with the field competing over a distance of 6,946 yards at the par 72 event.

As is traditionally the case with LIV events, this will be a hugely lucrative event for the field of players, with a prize fund of $20 million put aside for the individual event. The reigning champion coming into this weekend is Talor Gooch after the American finished three shots clear of Anirban Lahiri last year.

However, Jon Rahm will be the clear favorite in the betting. The Spanish star is still chasing his first victory in LIV Golf, and he will be hoping for a change in fortunes after struggling at The Masters on his previous start. However, Rahm could be primed for a return to form in Australia this weekend.

Joaquin Niemann has been one of the standout players in LIV Golf this season already, winning two of the five previous events. He was extremely dominant when landing success at the LIV Golf Jeddah, and a third victory could be a decent chance. Dustin Johnson is also hard to ignore after winning three previous events on the LIV Golf Tour.
