Liverpool will play their final Premier League match before the international break this weekend when they welcome Brentford to Anfield. The Reds will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to five matches in the competition.

Before Betting On Liverpool vs Brentford

Liverpool remain in a promising position to challenge for the Premier League title this term, as they sit third in the standings. At present, they sit just three points off the top of the standings, and they come into this showdown after going four without a defeat in the Premier league. However, they will need to get back on track after salvaging a late draw away from home against Luton last weekend.

Things are looking up for Brentford at this stage, as they sit ninth in the standings after bouncing back to form incredibly well. They come into this testing match on the road after landing victories in each of their previous three league matches, and a fourth straight success could see them go into the international break sitting in seventh.

Liverpool’s home record against the Bees is incredibly strong, as they have won each of their last seven against their rivals. That winning run dates back to November 1937, and they have scored 16 goals across those fixtures, and have conceded just once. Brentford also haven’t managed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last 16 matches against the Reds across all competitions.

However, Brentford’s attacking players are currently in excellent form, as the team have netted at least twice in each of their last three wins. However, they haven’t won four matches on the bounce in the top-flight since March 1939. Meanwhile, Liverpool have won each of their eight matches at Anfield across all competitions by margins of at least two goals this term.
