Before Betting On Liverpool vs Wolves

This season appears to have petered out for the Reds, despite being in contention for the Premier League title just over a month ago. Dreams of a quadruple in Jurgen Klopp’s final season in charge have faded, with the club only able to win the EFL Cup this term. The Reds will finish third in the Premier League standings this term.

Liverpool have been in indifferent form across recent weeks, winning just once across their last four, and being held to draws in two of their last three. The Reds were last in action on Monday, as they squandered a 3-1 advantage to draw at Aston Villa. It was only the second time in Premier League history that the Reds have squandered a two-goal advantage.

Wolves will be relatively pleased with their Premier League campaign this term, as they have easily moved clear of the relegation places during the second half of the campaign. Gary O’Neill deserves huge credit for the job that he has done after taking on the role just days before the start of the season.

However, injury issues have stifled their progression in recent weeks, as Wolves come into this final day assignment after losing four of their last five. They suffered a second straight league defeat in their previous outing after being beaten 3-1 at home by Crystal Palace.

Liverpool look to be a solid bet to end their 2023-24 campaign with a home victory. It will be an emotional day at Anfield for Klopp, but we could see the Reds winning by at least a two-goal margin.
