Another reason why we don’t think Dern is washed up is that there’s an explanation for practically all of her losses. She likes to land a lot of takedowns (3+ per fight on average), but she’s not great on the floor. Loopy just doesn’t have the lethal finish needed to beat her opponents to submission.
