Before Betting On Man City vs Man United
For the second straight season, Man City and Man United will clash in the FA Cup Final. United will be looking for revenge against their local rivals after suffering a 2-1 defeat in the Wembley showpiece last term, which enabled City to go within one success of winning the treble. However, the Red Devils remain one of the most successful teams in the history of the competition, having won the FA Cup on 12 previous occasions.
But, City have recorded more recent victories in the tournament, landing victories in two of the last five seasons. United needed a massive slice of luck to reach the final after eventually seeing off Coventry City in the semi-final. However, the Red Devils threw away a 3-0 advantage in the final 20 minutes of that clash, and were fortunate to avoid defeat after the Sky Blues saw a late winner ruled out due to the tightest of offside decisions.
City’s route to the final has been slightly more straightforward, with Pep Guardiola’s side allowing just two goals in their five previous FA Cup outings. Their place in the final was assured at Wembley on April 20, with a late winner to claim a 1-0 success over Chelsea.
