The Dallas Mavs beat the San Antonio Spurs on the road 137-128. Jason Kidd’s crew had to go through overtime to snatch this one and stay at the .500-record. We’ve seen them complicating things in the end, and instead of solving everything during the regular part of the event, they allowed the Spurs to come back and force OT.
Luka is out, and Kyrie is questionable but will probably skip this event, the same as Tim Hardaway JR. Christian Wood had 28 points and 13 boards against Dallas. Four more players scored 20+ buckets, Bullock 20, Green 21; Hardy and Powell 22.
The Lakers are back home following back-to-back events on the road, one in New Orleans, which they’ve won, 123-108, and a loss in Houston against the Rockets, 114-110.
Purple and gold are without LeBron right now, but at least Anthony Davis is there to help when healthy. Austin Reaves had a team-high against the Rockets, 24 points, D’Angelo Russell scored 18 while Beasley ended the night with 16 points.
