The Knicks are hoping that some home cooking is good for what ails them as they lick their wounds heading back to Madison Square Garden. New York was absolutely dominated on Sunday with Indiana getting up 43 points at one span before finishing off a 121-89 victory. The series is now tied 2-2 heading into Tuesday night’s Game 5.

Before Betting on May 14 Pacers vs Knicks

The good news for the Knicks is that the home team has won every game this series, the bad news is that New York is feeling the affects of a long season with a demanding coach. The Knicks had already suffered season ending injuries to Bojan Bogdanovic (wrist), Julius Randle (shoulder), and Mitchell Robinson (ankle), and now OG Anunoby has missed the last two contests with a hamstring injury.

It almost looked like Jalen Brunson was about to join the list of the Knicks’ walking wounded the last time New York played at Madison Square Garden after he injured his foot and missed the end of the first half, but he returned with a vengeance to lead New York to a 130-121 victory in Game 2. Brunson dropped 26 in Game 3 and was able to sit out the 4th quarter on Sunday so he seems fine health-wise.

The Pacers benefit from the 32-point win on Sunday as well, with with Tyrese Haliburton (back, ankle) and Aaron Nesmith (shoulder) each playing less than 27 minutes and getting extra rest. Haliburton still had 20 points and averaged 34.5 ppg the previous two games of the series so he can match Brunson’s performance.

May 14 Pacers vs Knicks Prediction & Pick

Does home court give the Knicks the advantage on Tuesday night or do the injuries stacking up become too much? New York was favored by -6 and -4.5 in the first two games at Madison Square Garden so oddsmakers are moving away from them a little bit.

Pick: Pacers +2
