Before Betting On Men’s French Open

Excitement levels will be building ahead of the start of the second Grand Slam on the tennis schedule, with the French Open getting underway at the end of May. The Men’s French Open has been staged since 1928, and it is the only Slam of the season to be competed on a clay surface.

Rafael Nadal has been the dominant player in the history of the event, having won the men’s title on 14 previous occasions. However, Nadal’s fitness issues over the last couple of years remains a concern when it comes to his chances of adding to that tally in 2024. But, his recent return to action in Barcelona has raised optimism that he could be set to compete at Roland Garros.

Novak Djokovic will rank among the leading contenders once again this year, with the Serbian coming into the event after winning a third title in 2023. That was a routine final success at Roland Garros, with Djokovic landing a straight sets success over Casper Ruud. However, the runner-up last year could have an outside chance after reaching each of the last two finals.

Carlos Alcaraz is undeniably one of the most exciting young players in the world of tennis, and he is gradually improving with every showing at Roland Garros. The Spanish star lost a gripping semi-final against Djokovic in 2023. However, he is a strong contender to win a third Grand Slam title in France this year.
