The Gold Cup finals feature Mexico and Panama. This is different from the finals everyone expected because Panama eliminated the USA on its way here. They now hope to make another sensation and win this tournament, which would be their biggest achievement ever.

Before Betting on Mexico vs. Panama

The Sombreros had no problems restraining Jamaica in the semis, scoring an early goal after two minutes of play, and adding one more during the opening half. Later on, it was just a routine for Jaime Lozano’s crew, who added one more hit to set the final result, 0-3.

Mexico posted four victories and a defeat at the Gold Cup, yet that loss to Qatar was in a game that had no meaning for the Sombreros. Their offense is very efficient, netting 12 goals in four other appearances. Meanwhile, the defense was not too far behind, having posted three clean sheets in this tournament.

As for Panama, they were at this stage twice before but couldn’t win a trophy. They once again created problems for the American team, this time eliminating them at home, after the penalty shootout. The result during the regulations was 0-0, and after the extra times, 1-1. Panama scored five penalties and the US team four in the deciding phase of the event.

The Red Tide still didn’t lose at the Gold Cup, having four wins and one draw. They played efficient football, and three of the previous four games saw both teams to score and over 2.5 goals.

The Mexican team didn’t lose against this team for 18 years. But even if it wasn’t like that, we would still bet on the Sombreros, whose team is by far the best in the competition.
